③ Available sizes (standard range)

  • Thickness: 0.3–60 mm
  • Width: ≤ 2000 mm
  • Form: coil / sheet / plate / circle / slit strip on request
  • Surface: 2B · BA · No.1 · No.4 · HL · 8K on request

④ Applicable standards

ASTM A240 · EN 10088-2 · JIS G4304/4305 · GB/T 4237

⑤ Typical applications

Chemical equipment, seawater service, pharmaceutical and food, pulp and paper, coastal curtain walls, heat exchangers, tanks

⑥ Substitution and selection advice

Molybdenum gives markedly better chloride pitting and crevice corrosion resistance than 304. Costs 40–60% more, so not needed for non-corrosive duties. For higher resistance choose 2205 duplex.

Chemical and mechanical data quoted from the public ASTM A240 standard. Available sizes are standard ranges; the contract and technical agreement prevail.
