From 28 September to 6 October, the hot rolling line was shut down for scheduled maintenance, during which the reheating furnace refractories were replaced, the descaling system was upgraded, and the rolling mill housing precision was recalibrated.
On 7 October the entire line passed trial runs on the first attempt, and the surface quality and thickness tolerances of the first hot-rolled coil were within design limits. Stock was built up in advance during the shutdown, so customer orders were not affected.
- Hot-rolled coil: reference lead time 25 days
- Medium plate: reference lead time 28 days
- Cold-rolled substrate: reference lead time 20 days
