To meet the compliance requirements of customers in Europe and North America, we have completed the conversion of process documentation and inspection procedures for two stainless steel standards:EN 10088-2andASTM A240.
Orders under either standard can now be supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 certificate to the corresponding standard, with chemical composition and mechanical properties assessed against that standard — no second-party retesting by the customer is required.
Grades covered: 1.4301 / 1.4404 / 1.4016 (EN) and 304 / 316L / 430 (ASTM). Thickness range 0.3–60 mm; finishes 2B / BA / No.1 / HL / 8K.
